Vintage Tin Toy Car II

This is a vintage friction-powered playmouth tinplate Scooby Doo tin toy car. It originated in 1950 in Japan. The condition is very good. It’s been used, with a few scuffs and scratches, and it’s nearly flawless. The colors are still vibrant. The windshield isn’t there, check out the pictures. The friction motor is still working, but we believe its playing days are past, and it is now merely a shelf sitter. According to what we have read, the dog used to bark but no longer does. “Driving Pet #1” was the name given to the vehicle. Despite its imperfections due to age and wear, the car is still lovely and drives well.
