Japanese tin toy cars were made in large numbers prior to the Second World War, then production ceased until post-war. The absence of a formal market led to an explosion of innovation within the toy industry. The example offered here is a classic battery-operated Ford Model T that requires two batteries (not included). Made in Japan, 1940. Although the toy has some play wear, it is still in good condition.
