Sunlight Soap Signboard

This is a vintage Sunlight Soap signboard. An authentic enamel advertisement with the words “Sunlight Soap” and “Lever Brothers Limited, Port Sunlight” on a blue background, encircling the central image of a soap packet. Introduced in the UK in 1940 and discontinued in the early 1950s, this design was originally used by a manufacturer of laundry detergent. The condition is good given its age, but there is some paint loss along the edges and some rust damage to the corners. It’s a lovely example of this renowned enamel that has never been touched up.
