Mettur Mulls Signboard

This rare one is a 1950’s original advertising porcelain enamel sign from Mettur Mulls Ltd, Linen Manufacturers and Blenders, Boflur, UK, called Mettur Mulls Long Cloth. They were highly regarded for their fabrics, which were produced to the highest quality. The sign is painted on both sides but with damage to the edges. However, no discoloration to the porcelain has occurred as clearly seen in the pictures, and this could be a great collection of parlour wall ornaments.
