Tin Toy Butterfly

In the shape of a butterfly, this wind-up tin toy is quite distinctive. When the wheels move, the wings flap. The tops of the wings are embellished with beautiful gold patterns. The mechanism still works, although it no longer runs freely due to its age. The wing span is approximately 15 centimeters. Shanghai, China is written on the underside of the wing. This is an extremely early Chinese tin toy, possibly from the 1980s.
