Anupurna Goddess Sculpture

Here she sits cross-legged on a multilayered unique lotus-shaped plinth with the 2 hands carrying her implements- a vessel filled with delicious porridge on the left and a golden ladle on the right. This cosmic deity is depicted in a moon-like round face and therefore the sun-shaped haloed crown mesmerizingly carved reminds us of the gorgeous South Indian temple structures. The condition of the sculpture is good. Originated in Bengal.
