Antique Indian God Virabhadra Sculpture

A deity regarded as an aspect of Lord Shiva is known as Virabhadra, also known as Virabhadra Swamy. He is revered as Shiva Gana, Shiva’s commander, and is thought to be Shiva himself in a vicious form. This sculpture depicts four armed Virabhadra standing with Sati and Daksha in Tribhanga, a graceful pose for an Ugra Murthy (a ferocious aspect of Shiva). The sculpture of Virabhadra, the ferocious manifestation of Lord Shiva would make a very impressive addition to any collection.
