Annapurna Sculpture XIII

This is a very compassionate and giving manifestation of the Mother Goddess; she is constantly prepared to feed the worshippers and grant their requests. Because she constantly has a pot or a jewelled bowl of food in one hand and a spoon in the other to serve her follower’s food, Goddess Annapurna is simple to spot. The grain-filled cup demonstrates the wealth of food she provides for all of her kids. Originated in Karnataka.
