Tin Toy Car Taxi

This is one of a series of tin toy cars made in the 1980’s in China and exported to western countries. They were called tin car taxis. The word “taxi” is printed on the roof of the toy car. It works on a friction-based mechanism. The front bumper shows signs of rust. The car is in working condition. The overall condition of the toy is good.
