Ovaltine Signboard

It’s a porcelain enamel signboard advertisement for Ovaltine Tea. This wonderful signboard was made during the 1940s in Great Britain but was made for Indian customers. It is painted in shades of blue on a white background and depicts a portrait of a pretty young lady dressed in that period’s fashion. During that time period, she could have been the face of the company’s advertisements. The signboard has text in Hindi, which translates to “Drink Healthy Ovaltine.” Major rust and paint chipping can be seen around the corners of the signboard. The condition is fine.
